Please join me in welcoming new neighbor, Paula Robison, owner of Good Dog Bakery and 3 Girls Bakery. The doors are open and the smells coming out of their establishment are fantastic. Paula and her team are continuing to offer cupcakes, special event cakes along with a wide variety of other baked delectables including breads. 3 Girls Bakery also has their own blend of coffee. And of course, the Good Dog Bakery continues to offer all its dog treats. Hours will be M-F 6am until 6pm and Saturday 10am until 4pm. (796-4822)
Many are surprised to learn that there are two other businesses located in the Artworks Building. Transformation Fitness is in the upstairs area (formally the Artworks Upper Gallery). Owner, Sue Bowen, offers personal training and small group exercise classes. Her training is designed to suit your needs. Massage therapist, Becky, is taking appointments as well. (517) 712-4954)
Travel with Ease joined us last summer as well. Travel agents, Char and Mikki Lyons will work with you on all your travel needs. Call them at (866) 982-0532 (Micki) or (231) 222-4288 (Char) to make an appointment.
In the Artworks building you can stroll through the Painted Turtle Gift Shop, making all those unique gift purchases you need for the year, enjoy art in our gallery, get creative by taking one of the Artworks classes, grab some coffee and a tasty muffin, work out, get a massage and get your travel on!!! All of this and so much more……
Last week during the Festival of the Arts closing ceremony (which was fantastic, by the way) there were so many that expressed surprise at our new space. They had not been in since we moved (July, 2015). If you are one of those folks (or even if you are a frequent visitor), stop in, say hello and check out our new neighbors.
