The Wright Brothers by David McCullough
June 15 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
We all know that David McCullough is the master story-teller, breathing life into historic characters and times. The Wright Brothers is no exception. One reviewer opined, “Where does he gather all this data?”
From improving aero-dynamics in their bicycle shop in Dayton, Ohio to studying seabirds in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Orville and Wilbur were single-minders loners. The people who watched them on the beach in Kitty Hawk thought they were just a couple of poor nuts.
Join us for the adventure—and remember this—their first flight was the same length as a Boeing 747 which we all pile onto these days.
