Remi Benoit Alain is a French-speaking Canadian who was born and raised along the rocky shores of Quebec’s Gaspe Coast. Although he was an engineer by trade, Remi was an avid outdoors man, spending most of his free time as a hunter and a trapper. Although he is a skilled woodsman, Remi discovered that he also has an artistic flair. He now enjoys chainsaw carving as a way of combining rugged utility with his artistic talents.
“If you love to create, a chainsaw is no less useful than a brush, a knife, or a pen—and I enjoy the challenge of proving that point!”
