DRAMA – Shortly before the outbreak of World War II, Jewish lawyer Walter Redlich, his spoiled wife Jettel and their young daughter Regina move from Nazi Germany to manage a farm in Kenya. Regina happily adapts to her free new lifestyle, but Jettel does not easily accept the life of a poor expatriated woman in Africa. This film shows the difficulties and worries even for those who left Nazi Germany in time.
