STACIE WRIGHT

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Stacie has been with Artworks since 2018 when she was hired as the gift shop manager. In 2023, she was promoted to associate director and in 2024 she was appointed to director of operations. Stacie also serves as the secretary for Big Rapids’ Downtown Business Association and was a 2020 graduate of Leadership Mecosta.

ARTHUR JOHNSON, ED.M.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING

Arthur joined Artworks in 2021 to manage the donor database. In 2023, he was promoted to director of creative arts education and community engagement and in 2024 he was appointed to director of programming. Arthur holds a master’s in education from Grand Valley State University and a bachelor’s in fine arts from Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University.

KIMBERLY SMITH

ACCOUNTANT

Kim came to Artworks in 2021 after working in the Academic Support Center at Ferris State University. While working at FSU, she completed a degree in accounting. Kim spent her early years working as a chemist and as a middle school and high school teacher. Aside from Artworks, Kim also works at St. Peter’s and at Baker’s Management Services.

PAUL ZUBE, M.A.

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Paul joined Artworks in 2024 to build community engagement and increase funding base. Originally from upper New York, Paul has been a part of the Big Rapids community since 2011 when he started teaching communication classes at Ferris State University.

ROXANNE CULLEN, PH.D.

CURATOR

Roxanne is a past president of Artworks board of directors and volunteers in the gift shop and as curator. She has a doctorate in English from Bowling Green State University and has been employed as professor of English at Ferris State University since 1983 and currently coordinates the Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies.
