Glass fusion

I am a fused glass artist from Kingsley Michigan with a Fine Arts Degree from Northern Illinois University.  I have studied with some of the premier glass artists in the country to learn new techniques.  One of my styles is mosaic where I arrange pieces of colored glass on a sheet of glass and either fill the spaces with black powdered glass or leave them empty.  Another style is slurry where several colors of powdered glass are mixed with water and placed on sheets of glass which is then manipulated to create an abstract design.  My latest style is handmade murine (rods of glass) which I design, pull and cut to be used to create bowls, boxes, etc.  My inspiration comes from the color combinations I see every day which inspire me to make unique one of a kind designs.
