Busy artful hands, as far back as I remember to age 7.  Bubble beads, embroidery, coloring as a youngster.

Then, onto home economics and learning to sew: men’s pants, a wedding dress and clothes for myself and daughter.

As a young woman I found and loved molding slip ceramics which I  taught for a few years.

Now, after 15 years of beading with semi precious gemstones, silver, and copper, I have found the art of metalsmithing. Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Fritz And Friends, Studio JSD, and Armstrong Tools and Supply are the places I have taken instruction for 8 years.

Although my formal education is in engineering, my soul loves to create with color, gemstones and metal.
