Medium: Wood Carving

After attending a carving “Round-Up” in Evart, Bette discovered her love for wood carving. Prior to this, she had already realized her love for woodworking. Over the years, Bette has taken lessons from master carvers. She now teaches! Bette has been recognized as the 2020 Patron of the Arts.

“My father was my greatest inspiration. He could build anything in wood, metal or cement. I was my fathers girl and tried to do everything he did. He inspired me to think with my brain and hands.”
