Beaded Garden Art

I am Kolina Mako, I am a Central Michigan University Alumni. I’m a business owner of a tree and stump grinding company with my husband near Canadian Lakes and I work outside in Michigan’s beautiful outdoors. I also have my real estate license. I love that Michigan has such a vast array of beautiful Perennial flowers and so that’s how my business name was created. 

When I am not working my passion has always been crafting. It’s something I love and enjoy getting my son into, he started to paint as early as 1 years old, and likes to help sort and count beads. I have crafted with beads since I was very young and my grandma introduced me to beaded jewelry. I have done a lot of mediums with crafting always dabbling in something new but always coming back to bead work as my constant. I love making bead stakes as they are so versatile for people to enjoy. They make wonderful gifts and can be used indoor, outdoor, or even faux plants for those who can’t have live plants indoors.
