Art has always been a part of her life. Julie earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree from Central Michigan University. She retired after 30 years of teaching art at Morley Stanwood Junior and Senior High School. She was Co-Director of the Artworks Gallery and Gift Shop for 3 years. Julie teaches and creates in a variety of medium. She enjoys painting, drawing, pottery, metals and creating unique silk scarves. She is frequently commissioned to do portraiture, murals, metal sculpture and paintings.
