Joan Bates

Medium: Watercolor

Although Joan was always drawing as a child, it was not until the 1970’s, that a class in oil painting focused her natural skills. After her retirement in 1989, Joan became interested in watercolor as well. Her work has been shown in Grand Rapids, at the Former Old Kent Bank, and she currently has work on display at ArtReach in Mt Pleasant.
