I first became interested in sewing as a young child when I watched in fascination while my grandmother operated her treadle sewing machine. Since then, my love of sewing has continued to grow, and now that I am retired from teaching I spend the majority of my days in my sewing room creating a wide variety of sewn and machine embroidered items.
