Currently, I serve as a Trustee on the Big Prairie Township Board, and the
Big Prairie Township Planning Commission.  I earned my associate degree from Ferris State University and have retired from there.  I find inspiration from nature as it is so amazing with all its natural beauty popping up from their hidden places, from the endangered Karner butterflies to the Prickly Pear cactus to watching a Blanding turtle strolling across our backyard which are native to our township.

I have always enjoyed crafting in some shape or form be it crocheting, cardmaking, or painting in various mediums.  I enjoy making pretty cards but adding paper mechanisms to them is so fun and a great way to surprise my grandchildren.  It’s just paper, but when you make one that lights up, or pops up, or swings out that is when the fun begins with handcrafted cards.  When the grandchildren exclaim, “How’d she do that?” and I see the wonderment that forms on their faces, I know why I love creating these cards - it’s all about the joy each cards brings.
